Cute restaurant. Great carry-out. Lobster cooked well.

Great classic seafood joint with fast service and a laid back, casual atmosphere. Definitely worth a stop and a bit less pricey than some of the other seafood places in the area or in Provincetown!

We got carry out and the hot lobster rolls were fabulous we came back another day for them. Warm lobster almost a pound I'd say, chives and lettuce with melted butter and lemon

Although they boast "best lobster roll" this place is average in every respect. Atmosphere, service, food and value are just average. Nothing to write home about and personally I would skip this place all together. I have had way better lobster rolls and lobster bisque in so many other places. Even PJ's a mile down the road had a better lobster roll.

My family and I ate here for lunch, it did not disappoint.We were one of the first groups in for their lunch crowd. I had bottomless fish and chips and everything was fresh and delicious.I have to say, my favorite part of the restaurant was the staff, our waiter was so sweet and took great care of us.The kids meals come in a beach pail with a shovel, super cute!

I Gave them a 3 star for the clam chowder. I give them a 1 Star for the fish sandwich. It was lacking flavor and I have to think the fish is precooked. I got my order went outside to eat it, the cheese wasn’t melted and the fish was lukewarm.

Good flavored lobster roll. They put so much butter tho that it makes the breast extremely soggy. They need a thicker bread because what they are using doesn’t work for that amount of butter. It they can just put it on the side 🤷🏽‍♀️ Also it’s all claws and not one piece of tail. Also I wish they wouldn’t use so much plastic! Very wasteful place.

Very clean and accessible restaurant. They provide generous portions and for inexpensive prices. I liked the food very much and the staff members were super attentive and chatty. I recommend this place.

Based on other reviews, I may have gotten unlucky with the service, but Kiara was just plain rude. She wouldn't even crack a smile. I'm a server myself, so it bothers me to see unfriendly service. No attempt was made from her to even seem nice, even though I was as polite as possible. The food was pretty good, but so overpriced. I would try a different place if you want to save a few bucks. The clam chowder was 8.50 for an ~8oz "bowl" (it was conventional "cup" size.) I don't even want to know what the "cup" looks like. Unfortunate because they have a cute look but just didn't do it for me. The other staff was really nice though. Just feels like the whole restaurant is taking major advantage of location with no regard for the quality of the experience.

I've been coming here for more summers than I can count...it's always a must stop when we're on vacation. We popped in on Saturday and there was no wait time for a table. My son had the hot lobster roll and I had the cheeseburger...we split a side of awesome onion rings. There was a family from the UK seated across from us and I was delighted to see one of the waitstaff and the owner (I think) take the time to educate the the two young boys in their party about the lobsters (we were seated next to the boat tank). I learned a lot just by listening in :) I'll be back next summer!

I loved this place! I had the baked scrod and it was delicious. My family had fish and chips and they were bottomless! Our waiter was the nicest guy.

The place is a bit outdated. The service is poor but the food is delicious. Try looking for the specials offered online or in local publications if you are seated between 3pm and 5pm.

It's a dive but service was exceptional.

***Upgraded from 1 to 3 stars as the owner reached out to apologize which I appreciate.***Open flag flying at 6:22pm walked in for dinner only to be told they were closing because it was slow even though scheduled hours for today are open until 9pm. Employees couldn't care less. I won't ever return...very disappointed in the vacation experience.

Cute double restaurant. We ate at the sit down area, fiendly staff. Both clean dining area and restrooms. Both the warm and cold lobster roll was delicious, although not the best I had on my travels to Cape Cod.

This place obviously knows how to treat their customers. Always with a friendly demeanor. The food is affordably priced, regularly flavorful and neat.

Lobster was chewy! Fried scallops were awful!!! No flavor or taste other than breading! Asked for the blueberry lemonade and it had alcohol in it. Poor waitress was very nice. Then I got my bill and they were charging me for the awful scallops! I didn’t eat them!!! Manager took it off but didn’t apologize, nothing!!!! Won’t be back!!!!

This place is a gem! The folks are so very nice. Roy our server was excellent. The food was divine. Fresh succulent lobster. The bisque & steamers were delicious. Everything was great. If they had 10 stars I would mark it!!!!! Love this place. Thank you for your hospitality & delicious food & service!

Went for the twin lobster special and was not disappointed. Also shared clam chowder and mussels which were great. Friendly service, very pleased overall. Perfect if you’re looking for a low key, casual place.

Sometimes you have to try a place to dislike it. It's a tourist trap. Plain and simple. Over priced for little portions. Two different menus: take out or dine in. Hot dog is the only kid friendly food other than fries. And on the restroom there is a handwritten sign on the men's room mirror saying "employees must wash their hands before returning to work." Well that's kind of hard to do when the soap dispenser is ripped off the wall not containing soap. Perhaps they meant "rinse" instead of "wash". Because that's all I was able to do in there. I been driving by this place for years. And now I will continue to keep doing so.

Excellent service, amazing food. The waiters are very friendly n polite.... first time having lobster roll it was awesome... My kids loved it there, the atmosphere the shells sitting outside everything was great.

Best lobster, reasonably price

We all loved it. The food was wonderful and the service was great. We were originally going to go to another place down the road but ended up leaving because it was busy and didn't take credit(that's crazy). We were very happy with this little hidden not hidden jem. My younger 15yr old kept saying "this must be where the locals go". Would definitely recommend.

We enjoy hanging out. Yesterday we came to this magnificent restaurant which friends told us about. We had a beautiful experience there with exceptional cooking and a professional stuff and a distinguished chief cook. We put this place in our list and we shall definitely go again soon. Highly recommended.

Extremely over priced. $19 bucks for a lobster roll... Served on a cold stale bun with a tiny scoop of lobster.

When in the Cape.... eat lobster. The lobster roll was decent but not the best. The fish and chips were OK but not special. The service was OK. Overall -- average.Now, the lobster roll, while OK by "Maine" standards, is still excellent by standards anywhere else, so it's still very good.

Ended up stopping here on our way back home and I'm glad we did! Best lobster roll I've had. The lobsters are super fresh. A bit on the pricey side though just for a roll. We also ordered the fish and chips and they were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend it. They have benches outside if you have a pet with you! If the price wasn't so high I would have given it 5 stars.

Great food, reasonable prices, and great service. We had a very large party with several different checks and everything was handled very smoothly. We had the all-you-can-eat fish and chips, which were great (the fries were not amazing but the fish was excellent). The kids meals are served in plastic buckets you get to keep, which our kids thought was fun.

Told us they were out of steamers after we waited to eat. It was lunchtime. My children were served beverages with multiple large, black ants in the drink. We quietly brought it to waiter's attention and he was rude and gave me an excuse: " So what we have ants. Everyone have ants." We canceled our food order and were charged for the buggy drinks! I asked for a manager and was told that they would be in next week. We paid and left. They still wouldnt comp us the 3x drinks with bugs.Better experience down the road.

The Lobster Shanty was just awesome!! Had a huge lobster dinner for an extremely reasonable price. Servers were so helpful! Thank you!!!

Amazing clams and of course the lobster roll very generous chunks, food and atmosphere is relaxing and a place for locals and visitors, worth the visit

Very good lobster roll

We had a great experience! We sat at the bar and Murphy waited on us. We actually went twice during the week we stayed. Our meals were delicious- we had the clam-bake special. What we enjoyed most was how personably the staff was and the great conversation we had with the locals. Very authentic and lowKey for this time of season.
